My paintings have been evolving under a variety of themes over many years. They usually explore subject matter from the natural world and often include elements of anthropomorphism, rural life, and the fantastical.

As I compile the work for this site, I realize how revealing they are to the moment I painted them- even though the content describes events and people that are a part of my personal history. Simultaneously living in the past and the present- I treat my paintings like a memoir.

My studio is located in the Ballard neighborhood of Ballard WA. There is a link to the building on the LINKS page.
